During COVID local schools moved from in person learning to e-learning. Many of our local students spent all day looking at their computer screens. MBI stepped in and provided students and teachers with blue light glasses to help protect their eyes.
In 2021 MBI was a major business sponsor for the annual Gavers Community Cancer Foundation’s Barn Dance.
One of MBI staffers is a talented wood worker. Built for the Woodstock Public Library was a coat rack and matching pantry organizer, and donation cupboard.
MBI sponsored its first Miss Woodstock Contestant, Kennedy Daniels. She placed 1st runner-up.
MBI was a business sponsor for the Young at Heart’s Senior Pet adoptions annual Silver Paws Gala.
MBI was the Gala’s photography sponsor and donated a pair of prime Cubs tickets.
MBI staffers took part in the McHenry County Human Race 5K run/walk/bike. This even funnels its proceeds into the hundreds of nonprofits throughout the county.
MBI paid for a week’s worth of meals for each of the Woodstock Police Department staff. Police staff and their families were able to dine out or in at a number of different local restaurants during the week of Police Week.
MBI located a need at a local food pantry, so we went out and loaded up a cart of food and household items to donate.
MBI loves parades! We brought out the MBI firetruck along with hundreds of pounds of candy to throw out at the local Woodstock event.
