MBI generously donated a raffle basket worth $120 filled with goodies to help raise money for the 12U Heat baseball team to pay for their upcoming tournament in Pigeon Ford, TN. Good luck players!
MBI donated $2,500 towards the Melissa O’ Leary Splash Pad Fund. Melissas was a dedicated local teacher and City employee who suddenly passed. The City of Woodstock has launched this fund as a way to honor Melissa’s life and commitment to her community and its residents.
For the first time in the history of the program, the K-2 Thunder Cheerleading squad won a bid to state. MBI has generously donated $360, to help alleviate the financial burden of entrance fees travel, and food. Go Thunder! We wish you the best of luck at State!
A local elementary teacher reached out that they needed some much-needed mid-year supplies for their students. So MBI answered her request by supplying the school’s second-grade team with 40 sets of headphones and 20 dry-erase lap boards, markers, and erasers.
MBI donated a $500 check to the Woodstock Co-Op Bass Fishing team. The fishing team is not a recognized sport within the school district, so their co-op is a club and is allotted only $200 a season. This donation will assist the team with their travel expenses for future fishing tournaments. Good luck on your season!
Local teacher Julie Stone is a Best Buddies Advisor at Creekside Middle school and earned the Best Buddies Champion of the Year Award. MBI donated $300 towards her fundraising campaign. Best Buddies International is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to establishing a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, leadership development, and inclusive living for individuals
MBI Cares was a $5,000 sponsor for the 2022 United for Veterans Gala. This event hosted by the Veterans Path to Hope raises money for their vast array of Veteran assistance programs. The VPH has a drop-in center, Veterans Housing Assistance Program, Homeless Veteran Employment Program, and much more.
MBI and MBI Cares were invited as the Woodstock High School homecoming parade marshalls. We were recognized as being a major supporter of the high school. It was an honor for our employees to lead the parade.
MBI was the pizza and water sponsor for the 2022 Woodstock High School homecoming dance.
